I would like that too.
I mark my profile private in steam so people during captains mode/captains draft don't attempt to ban my top characters. I use dotabuff.com while drafting/picking to counter pick or ban opposite teams top 3 characters.
But at the same time I like to see my stats and what not to use as heros, and what to improve on. Its not an unfair suggestion really. I think if there were a big call for it they should add it to the Plus area at least.
ban your team top characters,,, like someone is playing cm and can play only his one 'top' hero ? :D
