Vent is gross. As is Mumble. They both look like they're from 1995 AoL cd's. Skype or TS would be cool~.
Razer Comms could be a pretty good alternative if the software wasn't so bad in doing the wrong thing at the wrong time.
I mean, It's not like we can make thread "List your skype, Yolo" No telling who would add you.
Not really sure if Db would want to spend funding on that. I could try piecing together a list of players that use skype for Sea/NA/EU/SA servers. Depends if you all would be willing to share addresses with me via pm or something. Could compose a list or something with out it being flat up listed out on the website.
How many people would actually use it? We should try it out on someone`s abondoned guild ts and if it works, dotabuff could get one, size depends on how many players would actually use it.
I dont think melody`s idea about having a list of skype addresses would work, if i add someone on skype, i can just add on steam and ask for it cant i?
But a teamspeak server WITH moderators would be nice. It could have channels where you can only talk with permission, you only got from mods, and can be taken away any time they see they should, and some kind of ts hell, where flaming is allowed and no mods (or they wont ban) but everyone enters accepts getting flamed and joining those rooms means accepting you arent allowed to whine about it. So every regular dbuffer can use it, without normal ppl getting bothered by trolls. XD
