He has a single target FUCK YOU spell, and then he is a bellow average carry after that. dont let him farm and hes worthless

Dunno about Doom but Invoker is the most unfair shit ever. Maybe even worse than 6.79 ES.
I was happy that Invoker got a buff because he's my favourite hero, but I love Exort Invoker and in the current patch there is no point in not playing max wex. It's just borderline broke.
Sigma v Alliance last night kinda showed that. S4 was fucking nuts.
6 slotted doom can take pretty much any carry, assuming he gets the doom off, removes said carry or a utility from an entire team fight making the end game seem unfair. But faceless void can neutralize an entire team for ~6 seconds and kill multiple of them in that period. Is he unfair? It just is what it is, you shouldn't be letting the game reach that point if you want to win.
Dota is such that almost everything has a counter. Find it, deal with it. If you're smart with an illusion hero you can quite often bait out a Doom, a simple Linken's also can work wonders.
So ES is balanced as well? Because you know, you can CC him.

es was op because he could insta initiate and silence + kill 5 heroes at once on his own. He is difficult to gank and is generally tanky.
QW Invoker on the other hand needs items to get a proper initiation or gank happening, he is squishy with an unreliable escape (invis is easy to counter), he is countered by good positioning, it's not like he will land tornado emp on everyone unless they make a mistake. He is easy to gank early game, and needs a good start to be useful.
And how can you possibly have a bad start if your 100 mana spell takes away half HP of the other guy? 5 ganks in 5 minutes? Maybe. But him not being as OP as ES doesn't mean he is balanced either. He is the best hero this patch imo, close to Ember and Lycan.

Invoker is fairly balanced for the part of EMP buff, but the only broken part about it is you are literally a rikimaru that moves at 5000 ms that will facerape you if you are alone.
That aside, ember spirit is much more broken then invoker in pubs tbh, alongside with tb and phoenix
Exort invoker is the most entertaining to me. Only done one game of wex voker before

Orchid him. And in most pubs if you play doom, ult the invoker and he will just run around feeling useless lol
Doom is not op. Otherwise everyone would choose him and be 100% problem is he needs farm. Gank him a bunch and counter him by killing him in jungle or lane early? Next question?
