if you receive an abandon for the game, even if you reconnect / continue playing, the game will count as an abandon and a forced loss whether your team wins or not.
in the dota game client it will count as an abandon, and in dotabuff it'll just say the match was lost

This happens even if the server shuts down. In my last match with enigma server went down at like 20 min, we were winning pretty hard and both teams got a loss on dotabuff. Ty doto.
happened to me few days ago as well. i didn't abandon, didn't preform bad or anything, didn't afk, won the game and still lost points. however it counted as a win on dotobuff

It is a win if I open up the match in dotabuff or my match history in the game but on my dotabuff profile it says I lost the match? With win rate reduced from it too.
