Just deward and vary your ward locations. Gold is hard enough to come by as a support, the last thing you want to do is get into a ward war.
yeah... i just hold onto my wards until we're in a position where we can stay on top of dewarding or maybe the situation could be that they have gem. a lot of people will just place em down, even when the enemies can walk by and deward much much easier :/
What you might want to do is alter your ward position slightly.
For example you deward the enemy ward at the bottom rune near roshan --> ward the internal area of the radiant rune spot.
That way he will be "forced" to at least put 2 sentries to find your ward or will stop doing it for a short time.
I've found this working pretty well if, I just hope you understood what i mean approximately
If you are on the losing team. Don't bother out-warding or de-warding CM/Lich but they can take the GPM hit. Best thing to do is deward then ward elsewhere. Then when they come deward sentry u can use that 2nd sentry to get 2 wards.
I just played a game where enemy hero warded our ( radiant ) ancients. So our smartass jakiro bought wards to deward and started his job. For like 5 minutes, jakiro and lion were warding , dewarding and killing each other just because they were unable to put ward somewhere else. I had such a good time watching them, even after we told jakiro to stop that shit.
On topic. Just put in on the opposite side of river ( if that's the ward position ) or other place that can you give you similar vision.
Or you can use that ward spot as your advantage (smoke and wait for them to come to deward ) then fuck them up

It was so weird, that we know each other's ward.
Good ward spot are memorised anyway, especially who keep following the youtube video where to deward and ward.
So it's pretty easy to deward
Actually when I am in the lead I prefere a ward-war because I know their supports will starve out
people who do this are dumb as hell, when i get dewarded i deward them and put my observer somewhere else

and so on....
is it the right thing to do? i just notice some support players do these things... i know wards is meant for vision and fighting for map control but it just doesnt make sense to me -_-
