I'm so sick of people requesting heroes then sucking donkey nuts on them. I first picked viper cus he is an op mid, there was no od or silencer or anything to beat him mid, got flamed for picking him. Then guy is like I need morph! I think we need stun but more has one right? As long as he transfers his strength? Whatever I stupidly gave him morph. And now our draft sucks, there was literally no range support, only supports were lina who they picked second and ogre and treant and we ended up with this monstrosity.

Next match I draft a nice little team, es to counter undying, good mid storm can play puck even right? Well they random last pick pl, he free farms diffusal and they rape wk, storm keeps fucking diving and starts 0-6 mid. Then they flame me for not picking sven over gyro. Cus sven es is a better lane than es gyro somehow and es won't block all our melee carry in team fights.

I just don't get why people can't play CD sometimes, it's not that hard, all pick is supposed to be the all carry fails but everyone bitches so much if CD doesn't go right.

      CD in pubs is retarded

let someone pick it, and flame him if we outdrafted :3

A good puck should from what I know, generally dominate the Storm. That your storm player obviously wasn't great and then went some horrible items probably catapulted your second game into an easy loss, given that you had a giant timer on that game with medusa and PL on the opposing team. Your lineup wasn't bad though - two decent dual lanes and Gyro was great vs their lineup. WK obviously dropped in attraction the moment they had PL, but I suspect the main problem was that momentum was on their side after your mid stopped being relevant.

@First game - maybe have more confidence in your own decisions? If you don't, you probably shouldn't pick the captain's roll. Not saying you should ignore your team mates, but if you can't express to yourself why a specific pick might be good or bad, then don't pick captain.

          Wink

thats why you only play all pick in pubs and pray. everything else is rng or stupid

You also shouldn't spend picks countering supportish heroes. You should not pick bad heroes against them (like picking enigma after the other team picked Rubick), but save the counter-picks for mids and carries (with some occasional off-laner-counter-hate-picks).

those games don't look like anything like outdrafted. Just bad players, u sure you're not in 2k mmr?

Well the first game was a pretty bad draft imo but the pool was pretty awful. I don't remember everything in it but there were very few disablers. Their side had more but I don't really consider wraith king a disabler despite his one stun and I thought treant would be a good counter to nyx's ganks. Ogre magi is a pretty strong lane support, and we needed a ranged something so that's why I acquiesced to the morph pick. In hindsight I probably shouldn't have banned warlock and first picked him but I was set on viper. It seems like he demolishes most mids.

In the game I played pretty shitty. Magnus got no farm mid but he doesn't really need it, however I missed some easy last hits. Then I went to grab a rune bottom and wraith king and nyx both came and killed me, while morph and treant didn't rotate. I was running back to the tower past the dire ancients and they literally hugged the tower, didn't even both to come. But they had already started like 0-4 bottom. Then I messed up a gank bottom, I got an invis rune but didn't check nyx's level. I was only 6 but cus they had killed bottom 4 times he was also 6 already GAH so he invis ran away from the gank.

But in the end I was pissed cus they kept flaming the picks when everyone played like garbage, myself included. I mean look at doom's build, it's quite clear he had no clue how to lane a doom, then he "rushed" radiance. So he goes ~20 minutes with zero items, doesn't have hellfire maxed and no mini stun from lvl death. No wonder they got crushed in lane there too.

Second game, they kept saying ban puck, but I thought bristle and OD were more dangerous and after the last one I was first picking a support (not that many in this game either). I still think our team was overall stronger than theirs til late but again we lost lanes, wraith king kept overlapping his stun with mine in our lane so we failed to kill rubick a couple times and dusa killed him.

Anyway, is viper a bad first pick? If you aren't going to first pick him would you just ban him instead?

You shouldn't play CD. Ever. Everyone is just spamming to be the captain. That guy who wanted Morph from you. I'm sure he wouln't give you what you wanted if he was the captain. Because if you desperately want to be the captain, that means you don't trust anyone in your team. But in return, you expect them all to trust you and your drafting skills. That is wrong by nature. Only people who can play CD are 5 man teams and they all should know each other's best and prefered hero.

Idk if you are captain you can generally at least assure you have a good team setup with 2 supports and adequate stuns (as long as the pool is ok). I'd almost rather take someone who has only a couple games on lion or jakiro playing them than last picking bounty hunter on a team full of carries. Also on US servers the peruvians tend to stay away from CD.

Been a while since i played cd/cm now and been riding the ap wave. Honestly because high skill cd/cm games are so rare nowdays and people in general are whiny bitches.
