Whatever suits you, bro. If you keep winning with that item build why not?
I myself doesn't like the nature of radiance itself which very expensive
она работает отлично подходит для вас, потому что вы боретесь против новых игроков, которые не знают, что они делают.
it works out great for you because you are fighting against new players who dont know what they are doing.
Слава сиськам!
Whatever works, dude!
But be careful, because these illusions can backfire! If the enemy team picks heroes like morph, dark seer, shadow demon or enchantress, your team might have trouble dealing with them.
Useless item, if you buy it, you still cann't fight; it will give close to no push power on tower, and considering how strong his illusion are, getting agility item will give you almost as good splitpush power, but will scale later muuuuuch better than radiance
you don't need radiance to split push like tommorow, cause tb's image actually deal damage...
more agi, more damage, better bat
if you want to close that thread that fast, just make the maths behind it and post it. there's for sure some case in which radiance is better, and they might be pointed out in an open thread
matrice best french player ^.^
in most cases i don't go rad - getting the 5150 gold is a hassle. first off, you shouldn't rush radiance ever without any actual items beforehand cuz it won't work unless you're playing against completely incompetent retards (700 hp hero rushing relic = DEAD to 2 stuns), and even if you somehow succeed against said retards, you probably could've gone any joke item build like dagon/shadow blade on tb and still win. typical item progression if i feel rad is needed is treads/yasha/rad, since yasha speeds up your jungling ability immensely. add in some mixture of pms/wand/qb
second, if you do rush radiance, the best case to do so is if you need to cut creep waves in order to keep your team in the game. If the game looks even and the other team isn't pushing towers forcefully, you can just win by going treads/drums/manta/skadi. 8 or 9 cs/minute + having some fighting power is preferable to 10 or 11 cs/minute and having none, unless you have godly map awareness or something. by the way it's still possible to get 10 cs/minute without rad, but you need good illusion micro (a-click jungle, use illusions in lane to last hit, etc.)
I've lost quite a few TB games going radiance and that's because the team got crushed while I was afk farming. So it's definitely a risk and the payout is small unless you're absolutely certain there's no other way to prevent them from taking your t3's. i know some excellent players who can get rad almost every game and still win, but most players are far off from that caliber and will win more games without.
source: daily reminder i have higher win rate/kda on tb than zenoth, a 5600 mmr player ;D
I've seen ice3 do radiance manta.
That doesn't mean its optimal for people who aren't ice3
do no question matrice.
matrice if ur still here, can i ask why you prefer sny over manta? having 2 additional images and a pseudo spell dodge seems to be the superior option in most cases.
probably the maim when you're too poor for skadi, then you go manta, so now you have manta and maim.
he doesn't get both though. going for manta + sny is a waste, only 1 is needed.
being a 6100 rated player, matrice must have some math/logic behind his decision, but i'd like to ask him since i'm too lazy to theorycraft. i've asked various 6000 players and they all have different item preferences on that hero. i just stick with the one swiftending uses (treads/drums/manta/skadi) since it's very simple and doesn't have any particular weaknesses.
no just no
unless u got team that backs u up radiance is terrible item
better t ogo stat boosting shit and rightclick towers
Sy, mainly for the cheap hp, secondly for the maim (not to mention a little more ms than manta)
with sy, you already have some presence, while with manta, you still have none, since a single nuke will clean manta illusion if you get it as first item (unless you make drum -i don't make this item, and i find it silly for wood tb and generally for hardcarry, so i didn't tested out-.
Also, when you tryed the sy skady build, you will just love it, sooo much hp, sooooooooooo fucking much slow.
It's no doubt that manta will outclass sy at a point of the game, but i'm not even sure that after the 2nd big item, it already outclass it. making enemy flew slowly is also some kind of dps increase.
I personnaly didn't made the math behind, especially cause comparing the power of the slow of sy and the dps increase of manta is pretty hard. But my choice toward sy came from the fact that TB is extremly useless early if you go for either manta or radiance first. (once again i do not do drum) and sy is the kind of item which is perfect for him, since nothing but the maim is wasted on illusion, but maim doesn't stack.
So as what we saw with the build of morphling, i just do a build a little more early than what it should be if willing to reach the best one. So my tb has presence in fight rather early, and still goes for the strong late he is supposed to be.
@symph, get sny, disassemble then you have manta and sange, not manta and SNY, I thought that was clear when i said maim and not greater maim
honestly i like radiance on TB. because of his illusions, you can set them to jungle, shift a move them, make a new one every 16 seconds and farm like no tomorrow. i have a friend who manages 850-900 Gpm average on TB cause of that

After 2 consecutive abandons on my main I decided not to waste time on getting out of lp and went to the secondary account ... here I tried the new hero terrorblade and I think it really matches my playstyle but the thing is that I prefer radiance on him and make it in almost every single game but when I went to look for some actually good tb players I don't see any of them making this item yet it seems to work out great in pushing and farming. Can someone explain to me what is the reasoning behind doing that(like is it a poor item choice)?
