If it takes 6 weeks to do then 10 accounts at a time (if that was all he was doing but probably doing 100's at a time) he could make a max of $30,420 if only doing 10 accounts per 6 weeks.

If he uses a 400% booster, he gets 480 points in a game. thats just over 2 games per level. 13 levels in ~26 games, so just over a day for 10 accounts
I was just trying to narrow this down to a per hour number. If you can really make $300 a day that's pretty dang good. Cus I was expecting it to be a piddly amount like $2 an hour or something lol
Dont forget it costs him $$ to buy those boosters, so he may have $300 a day in revenue, but there are fees... and i bet his internet bill is off the charts
I'm pretty sure that this kind of grinding can be easily automated by writing a simple program.
And there are quite cheap no-limits Internet tariffs in European part of Russia.

Its Valve's fault that people get greedy. they kinda put the seed from start with all the bonuses, virtual goods, boosters and a glorified number called rating. If u come down to the core its just a guy who had a vision and created an imperium with sth he liked: videogames.

You didn't include the 80% boost that the other accounts give, so it's actually 400% (booster) + 720% (9*80 - boost from others) + 100% (base rate) = 1220%
An AFK game ends in 55 minutes on average and gives ~78XP per game so that's 78 *12.2 = 950 XP per game.
If you include party and recruit bonus, that's like ~80% more so we can say that he gets 1000 per game.
Level 13 requires a total of 9860 XP.
So it requires 10 games to reach level 13, which is doable in half a day.

$3510 is worth the same in rubles as in any other currency. Just because it's a higher number it doesn't mean it's worth more. Sure, in Russia things are cheaper but that doesn't really matter. :S
Valve nerfed the battle boost trick awhile ago. Doesn't work in team games... not sure if it works in co-op vs bots anymore.
Regardless, at least valve is trying to stop this sorta thing.
You also have to calculate the cost of doing this. Putting aside electric bills and all that shit, he still has to buy the boosters for example.

not necessarily things in RUssia are cheaper, ive been to Moscow about 2 years ago and everything was incredibly expensive (food, hotels, clothing, taxis etc). from my experience the only city that beats moscow in terms of cost is London, not even where i live is that expensive (rio).
The point here is that 400% boosters aren't even for sale. And how freaking stupid do you have to be to spend 30$ on a 13lvl account... @ max ppl should pay 10. But hey, since retards exist this guy can make good money.

Others who buy are 3k scrubs who want to feel better about themselves, expecting to get 6k but get disappointed when they get only 4k.
Moscow is like the most expensive city in the world, always up there with London. But in general people in russia make less money that in say the US or western Europe so yes the country does matter. Someone making 6 figures in USD probably isn't going to bother with power leveling accounts unless it's super lucrative. But my feeling is if a bunch of people started doing this the bottom would drop out of the prices and accounts would be like $5. Just wait til the chinese sweatshops catch on like with WoW gold.
