Unless the dota2 API allows for it they will not add it. As far as I know they have added everything they could from the current API.
I believe the MMR numbers aren't tagged and if a users profile is private how will it collect this data? All good suggestions but these aren't all possibilities.
as far as i know its possible to track via frientlistbot like those guys from http://www.dota2tmm.com/ do
btw why shouldn´t it be possible, when they can even calculate rank and success rate? i believe it schould be possible to add rank info on own profile and own hero rank compared to others.

+ player and hero player ranking filters (mode, game version ect...)
+ own DOTABUFF mmr ranking and rank and hero ranking and rank on own profile (with option to hide priv)
+ algorithms extension to differ match matchup between team. example my team has mmr sum of 10000 splitt individual (3100,2900(me),1800, 1500, 1200) and enemy ( 2000, 2000(example guy), 2000, 2000, 2000). so i have a individual balance lvl of -1500 and enemy individual balance lvl would be 0. (calculation with + for all mmr above me and - for all below me). as you can see i have a great disadvance with my team, even if the sum of mmr of the team are equal.
next step is adding the result: so if i win or lose i would get bonus for my rank. example i win +25 rank points(mmr) + individual lvl balance ~8(if its -1500 i would get 15 but it a bit to high so lets divide it with 2) = +33 mmr
if i lose -25 + ~8 = -17 rank
