I use it to force my team to group together. You know how difficult it is to gather everyone when one guy wants to farm ancient and another wants to farm the top lane and another the nc? For some reason when I pop smoke of deceit in their faces they become more obedient and willing to group up. Yea so imo smoke of deceit is good for this purpose. Not so much as an instrument to counter opponents warding i.e. even if i know my opponents don't ward I would still buy sod cuz typing and pinging to my team simply isnt as effective
