General Discussiondoes anyone know how to play phoenix here?

Offlane:

Save skill point until you see the lane/how much the enemy blocked. Add Spirits at 1 if you can get to level 2 easily, if not add Dive to get out of sticky situations. Use your spirits to harass/prevent last hits.

Focus on maxing Spirits. Get 2 in Dive and max Sun Ray. Ulti whenever.

Tranquils/Mek or Pipe/Heart or generic hp items.

great hero combine with faceless void chrono.

try to bait enemies in coming close to you, especially terrorblade >> pretend youre dying and when hes going for last autoatack/sunder you ult immediately

and then die immediately because tb has a machine gun.

thoughts on rfo phoenix i saw a thread about it in pd anyone tried it

Elder Titan is very good at protecting the egg.

talking about early game situations and mostly when tb is already low on life, 2-3 seconds next to egg are enough to get him down. if instead of trying to sunder he runes away, you either try to snipe him with dive and birds or just autoatacki him down. most of the time if they're alone in lane (eg supports went ganking/roaming) he'll try to sunder them kill you and thats where your ult comes into play.

thats just such a narrow line of play its literally not worth thinking about though lol

it's not a line of play it's just a small tip every phoenix player should know

its kind of a common sense thing though? isnt it ? low hp hero is taking his pants off and running at you? egg and kill him ? it applies to pretty much every hero but abbadon right ?

Well i play phoenix offlane.

3 branch. Ring of protection. 1 salve. 1 tango.
lvl 1 i go for dive to be safe.
Then i max spirits and dive. So i get laser lvl 10

I farm basilus with my ring of protection. After that i farm boots and a regenartion ring.
When i got boots and that ring. i dissasamble my basilius for tranquils which leaves me a sobi mask which i turn in to a urn.
THen i ALLWAYS go for veil (no fucking stupid meka beeches)
After that i usually go for shivas. Sometimes i go for Forcestaff if the other team is annoying.

After that the games are pretty much won already. Rest of the items are up to you, but also depends on what u are against.

dont buy mek on this hero. If your team is decent you can try veil. Otherwise I suggest Dagon. I'd start with 2 Null Talismans, since they give you enough mana to spam all of your spells in clash without having to ult all the time.
