Because they finally have a visible number they can attempt to increase in order to fap to it.
Not as worse as people who fucking complain at the loading screen about how bad their teammate was in their previous games and how they keep losing mmr
cause if you have a high MMR you will most definitely get signed to a pro team, therefore having a higher MMR > overall enjoyment of the game
Because you got something to lose maybe. Unlike regular mode if you lose that's all you lose, in Rank you lose points in your MMR.
When was the last time sampson played a normal game and someone goes, "I don't care if I win or lose, this is a normal game." etc... So glad they created ranked games so casuals and people who don't care about winning can GTFO.
It's actually true, why?
Because there is something to lose, before u would gain 1 point to ur loses, which no one can see, and no one cares about, as some players would say, I have 200 more loses because I have 3k games, u have 50 more wins because u only have 900 games, and blabla.
Now there is the MMR which ignores the number of games u played..
tryharding produces the funniest reactions out of at least half the players in the game.
why would anyone play normal mode atm, it is like the slums of dota. Literally nobody with half a brain plays that atm unless playing with their one of their friends with down syndrome. It is not about winning or losing but normal seems to attract the worse kind of people.

I was always trying to improve and do things correctly in a tournament way. But Ranked matchmaking is Normal matchmaking with a visible number and I don't care AS much as I used to.
