Around 2 years ago I got my friends used and malfunctioning Razer Imperator which i still use till todays day.
Before that I had an old simple mouse which was in my possesion for atleast 10 years.

        try this out.

dust your hands and your mouse with some talcum powder. Believe me it works.

my first mouse i ever bought was a Razer Salomosa and the right click became more of a workout rather than gaming. so i went back to a hp stock mouse(one that came with the desktop) I had the razer for 1.5years? im too cheap to buy another one right now. after a while i did notice the difference between a gaming mouse and a regular office mouse. Any personal recommendations for the most bang for your buck kind of mouse?

          Chris.

I get a new razer naga every 2 years. after 2 years usually some bugs appear to happen like the keys not working or left/rightclick

Hate Razer.. had an old logitech for about 7 or 8 years ( because all razer mice i had were gifts and died pretty fast due to faulty hw) .. got a Drakonia now as a xmas gift, so far works fine.

Agreed. Razor make flashy "gaming" mice but they are pretty bad. Most commonly the best mice that are both long lasting and sufficient for gamer needs is the MX518/G400 and I have had the same mouse for about 4 years which was a rebuy of the MX518 which I had for 4 years prior to that.

i had mx518 which lasted me 4 years, then they stopped making those but now they are called g400s but i have a g500 right now and its pretty stable so far, had it for more than 2 years now, not sure when i got it

                    Quick maffs

I have a ramdon 5 dollar mouse, pretty good, it works and that its enough.

Some of the microsoft products are comfortable to use and look pretty jazzy.

People hating on razer products is the same as people hating on vanguard.

Love Vanguard but avoid razor products due to personal bad experience. They are quite costly and tend to be cheaply made but if someone was to get one so what. I just feel that if someone wants a recommendation logitech mice are tried and true.

If you play dota often say 20-40+ hours a week, I'd say 6 months to a year. Though you can use it up to 3-4 years. My razer deathadder had some button delays after 3 million clicks or 3 months, but I ended up using it for a good 4 years after. I have a G500 now, and it's not as responsive as razer mouse I might go back, it's just a matter of time to buy a new mouse.

About 2-3 months after I got my new desktop I went to best buy and wanted to buy a RAT 3 mouse for $50. I took the last one and brought it to the cashier, but then something came up so I told her to hold it for me and ill be back in 30 mins. I came back and she said she doesn't know where she put it, so she sold me a RAT 5 for the same price, meaning I got a $150 mouse for 1/3 of the price. I was a very happy Wink on that day.
