Back before ranked was released, you could check your MMR through console. The game asks you to rank your skill at the start, based on your experience with similar games, and it would place you at 1000/2000/3000 depending on your answers. Presumably the system is still the same.

Anyone have an idea of what the starting MMR is? That is, MMR without any games played.
