Dendi has earned the respect he holds within the community over and over again. He has nothing to prove to anyone, let alone troll LPQ dodgers with delusions of grandeur. He is Ukrainian btw.

As for "losing mid", Dendi doesn't put 100% effort when he is pubing. He doesn't care about winrate or his stats. He troll built a MoM and was then planning on going Divine. His most recent loss to Resolution's SF was partial his fault, but more of the fault is on the timbersaw that took his courier while it had his bottle on it and then killed the courier, all the while ES had no wards on runes. Dendi was still getting beat with last hits, but that BS for timber/ES is going to screw over anyone.

pretty sure any1 with a decent job (not good. just average.) makes more money than Dendi..unless he wins something like The International every year he's in a pretty bad economical situation tbh, i mean, he doesnt goes to college and isnt anywhere close to a football player who gets millions every month, so his future is kind of dark. (i read somewhere that navi players gain ~1k usd a month, that's a really low paycheck unless youre either very poor or live in a really bad country in africa or east europe)

@atum i doubt that they get like 1k usd a month.. they are probably paid to use the mouse they use, the computer they use, bla bla, plus they get prizes for every championship out there

also, recently kuroky said in a interview that with dota he managed to provide a good life for his parents, buying them a new house and give them more comfort. i think they are not that rich but they might gain 15k per month, approx. also they are every year in the internationals and na'vi (the example you used) always go to the finals, it's a good amount of money they get there (though the money doesnt go only for them)

To be fair, Dendi's face has a shit-eating expression 90% of the time, so it's not that surprising people get angry/butthurt over the stuff he does.

There is a difference between saying his stream sucks and he doesnt provide commentary (which is arguably accurate) and trying to act like Dendi is bad at Dota and calling him out. Navi has nothing to do with it.

usually pros go for stupid builds just to have some fun and still manage to win the game

@dorkly, he actually teaches something. he has a youtube video with over an hour explaining how you should play mid, VERY detailed. constant pauses showing how and why he did that decision, etc

he is just trying to have some fun, we don't see football players teaching anything when they are in those "messi friends vs world allstars" games, they are just having fun, so is dendi

I don't think so, even if Dendi is just trolling with some kind of stupid build, he still has his game sense and game knowledge, we can't deny the fact that he is one of the best solo mids nowadays, and newbies can learn a lot from his and others streams.

@Satellizer ofc we all (that have some more game knowledge) can learn from dendi or other pros, but newcommers just dont give a shit for positioning or game sense (they barely could tell who is in good position or who isnt). i speak for myself, but when i was very new to the game (dota 1) i just wanted to know with items and skills should i build in that specific hero, and if i saw dendi rushing 3 divine on puck, i'd do it aswell

but when you get more game sense, you may want to watch pro replays to try to figure out what and why they are doing.

dendi is surely a beast, everyone could learn shitloads of things watching him playing, but SERIOUS matches, not the ones where he just random picks and do stupid things just to have fun. sure he has still got a freaking map awareness, but sometimes they (pros) just don't give a fuck

I agree with you about pros not giving a fuck sometimes, but I still think that streams are really helpful.

Since the release of the ranked mm, people are looking to improve more and more (it's all about the points yo), and sometimes there is no tournament going on, or you have watched the replay already, or you simply don't have the ticket and bam! X guy is streaming.

I just think that shouting DONDOOOO THE SUPAMIDAA every kill is stupid :l
he doesn't need to be "funny" to gain viewers, people watch his stream because they know he is a beast and even if he is playing like a retard, it's going to be a show.

I'll separate them in pro players and pub players (believe me, it makes the difference with invoker):

Best pro invokers : iG Ferrari, LGD Yao and Fnatic H4nn1 (These guys make the difference and they are able to carry a game perfectly with their invokers.) I will add to the list Na`Vi Dendi and DK iceiceice, but these two are below because i think they don't have the same game impact as the others.

Best pub invokers: Grimorum and Cook ( the only thing i can say about these two is that they are flashy invokers and perform amazing combos, but i didn't watch full games, so i can't say more)
