No it is not but it is a bit weird that you have to play solo against stacks, cause we had a working solo queue before.
Valve actually mixed solo into party matches several months ago. But they only started showing who was qued together more recently. Remember the solo que option used to exclude parties but now its just "preference". Its the same for language "preference". That's why you can keep getting non-English speaking ppl in your game when you select English only.
The only way to avoid this is to cancel searches every time they pass 1 min and re-search over and over. That keeps the range small and your preferences valid and everyone close to your MMR. Then you will see how long it really takes to get a good match. Often it can be a long wait (10 min +). So you have to balanced how patient you feel and how much you really care about a quality match with the extra wait times you get from canceling.
I've played against 5 stacks in solo que quite often. I have almost never played a game in solo que where there was not at least someone in a dual que since they started showing it. You can check the stacks at the end game screen if you are curious to see them; little brackets link up the names.
Nah, my point was more for looking at your win loss in Dotabuff % or something, have one for ranked solo/party/unranked, because I'm gonna play differently in unranked vs how I play in ranked. I like to play this game for fun too, not always tryhard must win no matter what, gets super tedious and boring like that quickly.

Will there be separate performance rating for Ranked Solo/Ranked Party/Unranked games? I wanna see how I do in semi try-harder ranked games, I am testing stuff in unranked and playing more friendly/casually with players while trying to be more competitive in Ranked games. (too lazy to switch to my smurf account)
Currently only 4500mmr solo tho, still pretty casual even in ranked, but I would like to see the performance percentages separate in ranked games.
