    Pick orders:

    Drow>Naix>Invoker>Doom>Lion (Me).

    Item Orders:

Invoker, Doom, Naix = Midas rush.
Drow = Failed Midas rush, turned to threads.
Lion = Expected by team to have 2 obs, 1 sentry, tangos for pooling everyone, courier+upgrade+teleport ganks by 8mins.

Best thing is I tried to communicate across by asking Doom to rush Mek. He ignores and goes Midas>Phase>Radiance. Tell Invoker not to go greedy and he goes Midas>Eul>Full Exort when we have no teamfight. Naix doesn't even talk the whole game. Drow sounded like a 12 year old.

If this is the 99% percentile then I don't know.

    I don't know anymore.

i only assume 5kmmr above as top 1%

I played a game yesterday around 3500ish team mmr (i avged mine and my friend's, we were the only stack in that team), and our doom did everything we asked him to do, and did it well... Also got the opposite in other games. And yep, sometimes I'm that bad feeder, but as you mentioned, its really hard to play a no-escape hero without any items at 10 mins couse you are solo support :D I mean I know there are ppl who can do it, thats why they have better rank. Sooo my point is, stupid people and people who listen are on every ranking right now. System is still not stable. And some solo players never listen, their individual skills are enough good, they can stomp their way up there, but they will always think they are the best player on the team and will never listen to you. Sometimes they are right, sometimes not. I dont think it has anything to do with MMR, its more of people's attitude... Maybe with visible ranking and time it will change... Lets hope :)
And good luck for your next games!

        Terrible

          1. match making sucks. Even with a high rating you can still get retards in your games, with or against you

          2. the average player sucks

Just saw that drows account, holy shit that guy is horrible

            @Terrible:

I am curious about "Just saw that drows account, holy shit that guy is horrible". How did you say that? Looks like that player plays lifestealer very well. Did you mean he is a bad drow player?

I am just asking out of curiosity...

            Wink

              @Isomorphism

How do you play Naix not well? He is so easy to play, he has magic immunity on a low cooldown and mana cost that buffs him in a bajillion ways, an INSANE slow that gives his whole team TWENTY FIVE PERCENT lifesteal, he does 7% current hp as damage + lifesteal on every hit, and he can heal himself or escape or initiate with his ultimate, which also does damage in a huge aoe.

Yeah i pretty much just explained all his skills, but it's very hard to not play him well, he just has so many ways to not die and to get kills. If someone picks drow and sucks at it, they probably suck in general.

LOL! yeah that's true I guess. Moral of the story, I should try lifestealer :P

Hey Iso, might I ask your rating?

I'm just wondering how in a ranked match the enemy team could be Drow, Sniper, Huskar, Pudge, and Shadow Fiend.

                  :o

                  Quick maffs

"How do you play Naix not well? He is so easy to play,"

                    Fuck that.

Puck, storm spirit and kunkka are way easier to play ( at least for me )

About that drown, you cant say he is a bad player only by his stats, 52 % winrate with a original acount and no stack is pretty legit, plus his kda are all good/ok-ish.

I guess some elitists asshole forget that some people didnt play dota 1 or other mobas .....

                    sleave

I don't think Kunkka is easier to play, as his skills depend a lot of positioning and must predict some things to make his combo right.

Ffs stop playing AP if you play ranked

                        Josh :D

Ranked MMR seems to only get me more English speaking and even that is questionable. I'm currently sitting at 3221. Of course I don't like that so I want to bitch about why it sucks, but half the matches I'm in the carries can't be bothered to carry or the supports won't support.... oh wait, that's just like regular queue, go figure.

I had an NP that kept lagging out and said "if I DC, don't pause". So of course he got an abandon after stats would be recorded as opposed to failing out before then.

The party ranking might be better, but the ranked solo queue seems to believe that one plus orange equals tree.

                          way2high

Simple solution. Get a higher rating.

                            vetochka

The numbers for rating distribution were officially told only about normal matchmaking, and there are no total noobs in ranked, so you may be quite right.

                              Jehzz

That awkward moment when you suck at Life Stealer.... But I attribute that to me being a god awful carry anyway.

But I kinda agree with Darkness. In ranked AP, nobody trusts anyone else and decides to be the hero, so you WILL end up with stupid drafts and all but lose from the start if the enemy team is even slightly smarter. Play CD or CM and you will have fewer* problems.

4k plus is decent but it depends on the uncertainty of your account. if anything around that rating you will meet worst players solo queueing because of stubbornness and the e-peen effect. some of the best pros don't even hold the highest rating, idk just some food for thought

                                    Elvz

                                      I think I'm an average player(top50-60%) & since I got my rating(4506 going lower), I thought 5.5k+ is top 5-10% while 6k+ is the 1%.

Even @ 5k mmr I'm pretty sure people(solo) are still arguing about how they approach each match. You're just unlucky your teammates didn't play the way you wanted.

                                        @ROTTI/solanin

You need to study statistics more or may be some engineering's stochastic will help you.

You can find an easy read if you google "Normal Distribution", the model does not perfectly fit but close enough.

@Inspy I might as well do.

But i should say that this:

                                          5% 1100
                                          10% 1500
                                          25% 2000
                                          50% 2250
                                          75% 2731
                                          90% 3200
                                          95% 3900
                                          99% 4100

                                          will have significant change.

                                          Mew

I think you don't understand how MM works.

You won't get paired with people with 3000+ MMR if you queue.

The MM system goes for balance. So it sets up the players to be the equal party MMR. You could have well been the highest rated MMR person on that team and the average was like 2000 for both teams. So they had one guy with 1000 three guys with 2000 and one your range.

The only way to get good MMR games is to stack with the same people 10 times for all your ranking matches. Get the same MMR and then go into games vs other people that did the same. This is the only way to get people that communicate and play well. Join a clan or simply find a decent group of people. Even if one person sucks at least he is open to criticism and sugestions. Unlike solo were they just fuck you off.

                                            ??

Uh, you can certainly queue with people significnatly below or above you. Matchmaking adjusts for the AVERAGE rank, just because you're a 4500 doesn't mean everyone in the game is right there, especially if there is even one person not solo queuing. I'm 4600 and queue with people way below me all the time -- this doesn't mean that the other team is going to have someone at 4600, just that their average rating will be about what ours is.
