Are you using Chrome?
Check for unwanted extensions. I've had issues with extensions that installed themselves out of nowhere and started showing adverts and shit everywhere.
Install AdBlock. You'll forget about adverts forever.

Dotabuff admins this is getting rediduclas, some of youre adds are opening up on my tablet by themeselves, aka the vrus checker and tbe asian bride site, it is happening every 10 minutes and it is really frustrating me, cant even read through a tnread without the page redirecting 3 times, and before anyone says its a virus on my end its not, it only happenes on d9tabuff and I see the symbols in the add screen before my page switches, so either the dotabuff admins need to re evaluate who they let do adds, or they need to cleanvtheir system of viruses.
