yeah.. same problem... thats why i didnt play much..

Download wtfast, same game different server, also mostly faster. I tried it and it was amazing.

^It's only a free trial though, so it doesn't really work if you have used it to solve the same type of issue before

I don't have any of these problems.

Although I have another problem.
Once in a while I get "Warning connection problem" with a countdown at 25sec. In these 25sec I lose connection to everything and after the 25 sec I get connection back but then it start another 25sec countdown until I can reconnect the game.

I only have this connectionproblem while playing DotA.

There are people mentioning that in the thread as well. Called my ISP again, they verified it's not their servers. The connection only has issues when maintaining a connection with doto servers.

I'm playing on EU West and you're on US East, may make a difference, but all runs fine for me. No packetloss at all.

The problem stretches from NAwest to SA, to EU to Asia. People everywhere complaining x.x Started around Ti3 apparently.

I've never experienced packetloss despite from when there was 10people on my internet with shitload of shit on..

Bump~ Iso fixes.

Do one thing,
1-hold the windows button and click R
2-type cmd then press enter
3-type ping 8.8.8.8 -n 100 and see the results

And tell me if it is showing packet loss.

Tried this already. It was listed as one of the possible solution finders in the 70 page thread I listed.

Edit: Ya, it's not my ISP.

I believe i've been sighting this problem with alot of people lately, i believe its from Dota 2 server's end. so yes. you need to wait and watch.
If this problem still persist, let me know.

I have the same thing, makes the game unplayable

i get 1k ping in euw and eue sometimes

during the day, i usually queue for us east or russia

I had this, caused me to lose my first ranked match :/

I played through a few with it. It can be terribad at times, go to harass, see the creep lane coming up, click back but it's too late and walk under tower. Team mates pinging and screaming. "Sorry guys, alt-tabbed."

That might explain why I had huge lag when i opened console, try to play without it, you'll have no lag

I have also had a problem with lag lately. Every time I'm in a game my screen freezes and does that at least every 4 seconds. I have tried almost everything to fix and nothing seems to work. It makes the game impossible to play. I also have no packet loss and normally around 34 ping in game. PLEASE HELP MEH.

Ok, many people are facing some serious issue, there is some issue regarding singapore server connections.

Had no real problems with in-game servers, maybe a few lags here and there (that might even be my connection). The connection servers though... They are down very often, sometimes longer than 30minutes.

Same exact thing here. Has caused me to lose 5 ranked matches already. Console shows "Receiving uncompressed update from server" over and over again. Absolutely infuriating.

Same problem here, everything unresponsive. The game GUI is still responsive, but the game is somewhere around 1 frame per 30 seconds.

Ok, so I've found this on another topic: working SOLUTION for 6 guys with Nvidia card already :
in Nvidia control panel
___1. set CUDA OFF from PhysX tab = use cpu for physx
___2. From general device settings tab = set No cuda option, And select "use Nvidia graphics" so its not "automatic" or intelHD
___3 from programs tab set your Dota2.exe use NO CUDA.
___4 And disable Thread Optimization form Generals and Programs tab (about 4th lowest option there)
___5 force your Program Dota2.exe use Nvidia graphics only - so its not "automatic"
___6 Enter these commands to the Dota2 "command line options" box:
-nocuda -nod3d9ex
.
And lastly : i suggest dota2 without filterings and antialias features , and click the "Network type" from Dota2 setttings to LOW priority.

8. -Go Nvidia forums and complain to BUG SUBMISSION. They are NOT going to fix this if you dont complain, because so many fail thinks that when related to Nvidia Mobility cards ,this was some Network issue , even it snot. -only way fix is Disable Cuda.

Does anyone have a working solution for this problem because this is really pissing me off. I have lost a hell lot mainly because of this. I have checked both the dev website and reddit and i haven't found a working solution and i cant believe i play in the lagg instead of abandoning man have i become a addict. Anyways someone please post a working solution or i am sorry to say Screw you valve and screw the amount i spend on cosmetics. I am off to LoL or HotS. Ok but seriously someone post a working fix. well its white i have ping spikes and when i check console i see this and this was of last game. But i had a nice team even though i was a fail

I solved this top issue a while back with a shit ton of ISP changing and router changing, and an internet upgrade. Deleted a shit ton of character build files and stuff. No idea what fixed it, but one of the 50 things did. Other players are still having it as well.

anyway i used to have a lot of connection problems in dota with ping skyrocketing to 1000 or 2000 or just 400 if i'm lucky, i thought it could be because of my roommates hogging traffic i need for dota but eventually it stopped

First thing I suggest to help with lerp is doing some shit in console.

I added this to my autoexec file

I did this today because I started getting some packet loss yesterday. my ping jumped about 40-60 as well, however this made somewhat of an impact and fixed it (Playable now)

Also I recleared this stuff, which is stuff I did earlier when I had the problem before, and it seems to have done similar things.

Edit (After I fixed the first time, I played consistently with 0.00 white lerp, and then yesterday it spiked to 66.7 and yellow. My ping climbed from a normal 40-60 up near 110-130 on USE. After the console commands, it sits at 33.3 yellow~ with 50-65. Far more playable.)

sorry i checked back late. I actually reinstalled steam and i am re-downloading dota 2. I will follow up on the above steps as soon as the download is completed but thank you for replying to the post.
