Hi everyone, so as the title says I am new to TA and would really like pointers. I can manage how I spend my levels pretty fine, it is just the gameplay mechanics I need help with. Any links or explanations would be very much appreciated.

go to community and find players like ferrari under their respective teams, download replays of them and study their decision making etc. Ferrari plays TA at AI level it's pretty scary

Use traps to ward runes, rosh and jungle camps. Go ganking as soon as you hit 6. You don't always need a blink dagger.

when you play against qop mid, use meld to dodge his dagger, use refraction to dodge his scream.

You just find replays of good ta players and watch them. There is too much to be said about decision-making, it is much easier to learn from demos and practice.

Here are some decent TA players. Check their profiles for ta games. You can download replays that are not older than 1 week.

When I lane against a TA I always try to bait them into creep agro to drop their refraction, than kill them. Remember that shield stops alot of damage, but creeps will take it off so fast so care with harass and diving.
