It's several time I saw the thanks for nothing, but i was wondering:
is that meaning "thanks even if it's not a lot" or "thanks, but for so little you could also have done nothing, it would be the same for me"
Both really, thanks for nothing is a sarcastic reply used when you wish to express your feelings that the person you throw it at has done either:
a) Nothing to help at all, or
b) Been actively unhelpful.
Not sure which applies here, he's probably just lost a game or two and is pissed off, or he has a very small penis, or maybe he was abused as a child, or maybe is still is a child, or maybe his football team just got beaten, or maybe one of his close family has told him he smells of BO and should wash more, or maybe he overcooked some chicken on the barbecue at the weekend and is mightily pissed off about it, dat damn fine chicken ruined and black, or maybe he just plain doesn't like you, or maybe he hates everyone, or maybe he's just terrible...
