Does not matter. You can't stamp twice the same player. You'll get an error message when you try.
Yeah I did get that message that's how I found out by comparing that icon to others. But DotA has a lot of bugs so I was afraid that I'd trade the card and then find out that it wasn't stamped :D

Hello guys,
I have a question about stamping the player cards. So when we stamp a card, the picture of the person becomes colored. That's how we know that we stamped that card already. But some players don't even have their pictures. Like my compendium says that I've completely stamped 2 team. I can see which is one, but not sure about the other. Is there another way to check which cards are stamped?
