You're gonna get LOTS of abuses. But you can reduce the amounts of it by adding the people to your friends who are nice and helpful and then playing with them. They'll teach you. (You're still gonna get abused by the other team :P) The other solution is to play lots of bot games. And find people from there. That's what I do and I've had only 3-4 instances of allies talking trash. I also mute them in first few minutes if they start talking trash.

There is a game mode made especially for them with limited heroes.
I didn't get verbal abuse, in fact people were friendly. When I made mistakes people said don't worry about we'll get them next time. Out of 120+ games only 3 times I had to use a report because of a jerk.

With the amount of verbal abuse they gonna get from the dota vets and "pros"? If they commit all sort of rookie mistakes? Any tutorial for that?
