High Risk - High reward, with the risk being unreasonable high. Get some control groups you´re comfortable with (all meepos, all but main meepo, single meepos) and start playing. Practice Poofbombs (tab poof click repeat) until you´re really fast with it and don´t screw up, then continue from there. Learn Poofbomb with dagger (All Meepos poof the main Meepo, then you dagger onto your target before they actually teleport to you)once you´re fine with regular poofing for teamfights.
As with everything else, practice.
People pick him. As Dumbaz said, he's too freakin' easy to shut down. You need to have your whole team keep you safe until you get fat, then you just snowball out of control. Problem is they just need to cast a little spell to find out which one of the meeps is the weakest, then beat the shit out of it. WAYYY too easy to kill.
