Her base Agi gain is pretty bad, only 1.9. She will need to focus more on her positioning than before to have a decent DPS. Shadow Blade could help with this somewhat, or have teammates with stuns/slows that help her stay at a safe distance.
icefraud had to nerf her cause normal and high tier pubs couldnt handle her :(

no one picked her in my skill lvl, all randomed her, and she can be countered rly easily..
the nerf was asked by low skilled players, as they have no skills to counter her, and no skills r needed to own with her too..
Mapz0r, sd used to be a pretty much exclusively mid hero before getting nerfed. Still can mid fine, and is a great counter to mid drow.
The nerf wasn't aimed at low skill players, it was aimed at very high and competitive. As she is she is broken (though, I would say not as much as PL) and can't be included in competitive, so they nerf her so she can be. Everyone was complaining about it,not just low skill.
PL isnt broken, DR isnt broken, just get medusa, sve, mag, sandking, gyro, and many other heroes who can counter him too, the guys who r rly broken r kotl, nyx, and to some extent bat, all got nerfed, and DR is not a possible pick in comeptetitve dota 2, in dota 1 i am not sure i saw one for a long time, she got nerfed bcus community calling it for months..

The main point, why DR is so strong is her aura. Her personal damage dealing potential is strong but not imba and can be countered by many heroes (magina with manta and basher or many others). But her aura gives lots of damage to other heroes and creeps. For example akasha or storm staying mid with this aura gets so big advantage in controling creeps or harassment. Anyway it is one of my favourite carry heroes
that wut i talked about, no one plays her in my skill lvl, i had a DBR of 1912, so sad no DBR now, wanted to get into the diamon bracket !!
they all random her in my skill lvl, no one picks her
she got nerfed in DotA, and she is going to get nerfed in dota 2 nearly, maybe on the next patch

i think it didnt do much, maybe only while being hit by a melee hero, or some range hero with very low range, TA, morph, Gyro, but she still hits hard while chasing..
