if you're in very high, you can more easily begin finding your mmr by seeing where your games lie in the live watch list. the lower number the page the higher your mmr
Well, for one, if u still get into high skill mmr games that means you are at the low-to-mid section of very high mmr. It is not accurate if you stack because they will average the skills of you and your friends. I also feel that when stacking with 4-5 people will induce fighting higher skill opponents than your team's average
But then again, the supposed skill levels are not accurate because u have not played that many games, if u try and spy on ppl matchmade with you, you'll see that most of them have around the same wins as you. Meaning u have 76 wins, others would have like 40-160wins, this is just an estimation based on my experiences. Again, if you stack with friends it will be averaged out.
Getting on very high mmr this early means u wont be fighting against pro players, but you fighting the cream of the crop among the newer accounts.
Winrate also doesnt matter, take a look at one of my smurf acc I initially only played to learn TA,

I lost 5/6 of my first 6 matches, but from the 6th game onwards are all very high bracket when i solo queued. (I was so happy how valve recognized my TA was being dragged down by morons)

yeah i guess, if you come sometimes to high games, means you somewhere in lower medium part of very high. When you get bit higher, you can check when game is starting what page number on live games you are. Closer you are to page 1, better you are rated.

@Yunnie, the brackets the replay filter provides have nothing in common with you MMR. Replays brackets do not correlate to players, but igame factors. If Dendi has a game right now where someone leaves at minute 3, it will be in Low bracket.
I don't think so. It is based on the average MMR of all the players.
The reason why games with early abandons are in the low bracket is because the player who abandoned is not actually taken into account when calculating the average mmr. When you search those games in the replay finder you will see that the player who abandoned is not actually listed in the quick preview of the game.

Games are only divided into 3 brackets for search purposes. The real MMR is a gradient... it has no brackets.

There is no excuse for this ignorance. Look around you, everyone's complaining about the fact that our current MM has NO brackets or tiers. All it does is force a 50% win rate on all its players and thus puts its best players against its known gameruiners and visa versa.
Don't be a fool and think that you will meet better and better players as you play more games. This is simply false. There are countless of examples of people winning their first 4-5 games on a smurf account and already meeting very high skilled players.
Personally I've also noticed that I always get worse and worse teammates and better oponents as I win more games in a row. When I am like 10+ games over 50% win rate Valve starts putting gameruiners in my team who feed and suicide on purpose, flame me for doing good and then end up afking/leaving/killing his teammates. All of that to force 50% wins on me.
So again: don't be fooled by bullshit stories about tiers or brackets: THEY ARE NON-EXISTING!

MerDeNoms is talking bullshit, Valve said many times that they are not forcing 50% win rate. And the people that u say "suck" maybe just having a bad game , or bad luck, or maybe YOU suck and drag them behind.
If your win rate is close to 50% that means that MMR is working as intended, because it is matching you with same skilled opponents, and how do you want to win them more than 50% of time if they are the same skill as yours? Think with your brain a little bit.
The brackets normal/high/very high are just for replays tho, the real rating varies much, meaning there are a lot more "brackets". If you played WoW you will know what I am talking about.

normal/high/very high are brackets ONLY for browsing REPLAYS. It is completely different from how player ranking works.
