I'm not definetly sure, but as far as I know, verified status receive players, who play in official tournaments and/or cast games, or just are famous players
I can only suggest organizing your own team called NaIg'Vi and winning TI3! Or finding out Icefrog's real identity and forcing him to make you verified, so that you remain his secret.
Srsly though, why do you even want this in the first place?

I also need this. I hate it when people on the forums pick the wrong Typhox and then laugh about "my" recent games.
At least currently I believe the other Typhox isn't active, so they can only find me.
I don't want to look arrogant, but obviously I'm quite famous, at least people message me ingame all the time asking if I was the Typhox from the forums ...
Typhox, aren't you horrified about your matches? up until page 4 all i see is OD. Then until page 12 where I see a random Lycan, it's mostly OD and a few Jakiro.

I haven't been playing PA for days, even though she's my favorite of all heroes. Actually I'm avoiding her until I have another 2 heroes on par with her. I'm just amazed by how some people can play a the same hero every match. and it's my 12% PA(48 out of 408) to your roughly 50%(794 out of 1451) OD.

You earn verified status. You don't beg/ask for it. When the general populace believe you're famous enough you will get it.
@ Typhox Man i think you just need to keep doing what you are doing. I know who you are from the forums as well and although you are in a way, famous, I dont think being verified even counts for anything. Its just a stupid addition. I dont believe you do what you do to be Famous or rightfully recognized. Just have fun ( though i feel is difficult with OD being half your picks) isnt that why you play the game? Seems a bit petty imo.
I must admit, I don't have fun when other players calling themselves "Typhox" and then start trolling and later I'm the one who gets into trouble everytime.

I'm pretty sure those famous players won't even mind others using their name in game. The verified players thing is just to prove that it's the real them just to see how they play etc.
Hm, 150 people apparently watched my last game. Sure, not everyone wants to be "verified", but some want it more than others ^_~

Just noticed though that even most competetive players (for example from DK, Orange or Zenith) didn't get a verified to their name, so I guess it's just arbitrary and maybe only the players that the admin of this website likes get a verified...
Typhox can u teach me how to use one hero for many games? i used one hero for at most 4games i cannot make it, i must change hero.
You can only play a hero often that you really like.
I don't know, it probably depends on your character. I find it easier to stay with the same hero and focus on my mistakes with him, because I find it easier to compare my games and see improvements as well as general problems (like can't handle playing OD against Nyx).
Verified players are only for competitive players/casters/contributors who are famous in the Dota scene. Tobiwan and purge are casters, Cyborgmatt is a huge contributor to the Dota scene with patch updates. Are you guys famous in the Dota scene? No. Are you guys a caster or a competitive player? I don't think so.
This system is pretty much like the Twitter one.
So I doubt you guys can be verified... whether for fame or to be cool
And for players such as iceiceice who are not verified, I believe the Dotabuff admins should do something abt it.
