I played it daily and improved a lot in it and then they made it so that u have to pay , then i stopped xD .
We never implemented a subscription fee. We planned to, but deemed that too many people would drop out if we did so we waived it. Everyone was welcome to play for free for the entirety of season 1.
Discussions around the future of the league are pending. We've been speaking with ESL about a way forward, but their response has been slow as Covid has impacted their business quite a bit.
As of now the league is shut down, with potential prospects of restarting in the new year when ESL can once again host live events and sponsors wish to re-engage with the league and the academy system. Wish I had more concrete news than that, but we're still awaiting decisions from ESL ourselves.
