i dun buy headress or buckler but basi is gud if u tink lane is going really well den dunnid wrait band and jus make pt den +basi for the manaregen to jungl

yea i think headress is really good i play necrophos alot so it later turn into a pipe or greaves. I played pos5 in high mmr game and the carry chose to make a second headress on lane and im not sure about that because the aura doesnt stack.

in my opinion headress and basi is better on support heroes but sometimes required on carries if the supports dont make it

Headress is pretty ggood on pos 1 hero if their lane is hard . They can sustain much more buy less tango in the laning stage.

Buckler is often used against physical dmg i think since its provide armor and other stuff (i dont remember them), headress provides regen + stats which will make your lane easiler, basilius provides you and your allies in range mana regen i think. What is ring?

Also ive noticed some years ago pro players in tournaments buying casual headress on AM since the lane is hard and for him to have enough regen.

buckler -> for armor and 3 stats 4HEAD
headdress -> for regen and 3 stats 4HEAD
basi -> for mana and 3 stats 4HEAD
basher -> for bashes, 25 damage and 10 strength 4HEAD
bkb -> for spell immunity 4HEAD
crystalys -> for crit and 45 damage 4HEAD

Support player here, I usually get the headress in order for my core to be able to focus on his crucial items while having the regen aura.

For the basilius on the core, I guess it's valuable if he is going to build veil (sk) or vlads (tide).
For the buckler on the core, same reasoning as basilius and you have to take in account the lane you are against (less valuable early buckler against full magic burst ?).

You also have to take in account slot optimization on some "timings" pos1. If you play Naga/TB pos1 by example, you are supposed to have by 12 minutes:
- 2 WB + QB or 3* WB
- Treads
- Wand
- Yasha
=> No more slots for buckler/basi/headress. After we can go in the debate "Does having buckler aura on illusions macro split pushing is valuable ?"

With buckler if u ve more armor you can stay in lane longer and get harassed longer with headress you dont need to buy a lot of tangos in order to stay in the lane with basilius same. For abysal make it so the person can lock down someone and we can burst them. For bkb make it so that 1 bkb can win us the fights since some spells can kite you down. Do you need an explanation of why you should make these items all the times? If you played dota 2 enough you should know what these items without explaining them much, but apparently you dont @kowareta. This is like saying you drive a car with pedal for gas you go forwards/backwards, a brake pedal to stop and a clutch to change the gear if not automatic. There are people who want to know more about the car. Like.. how the clutch work, what is engine, how to fix engine, what are tires? What tire should i've, when should i change my tires, oil, what is fuel, how the fuel system work and so on, SON. Same with dota. He wants to know why they make these items. Do they make these items for just a lane or will they upg them and so on. Its not like, oh i got a car. I just press gas and brake and thats it. I dont change the oil, i dont change my fuel, i dont change my tires when they wear. If you were pro u would get a lot of critics from team mates what you can do to improve something and so on. Try to build a script that parses and lexes a complex natural language and then dare compare people in computer/IT engineering with some airplane engineers.

yeah i agree with papa macron, im starting to make headress on pos 5 aswell because they later on can turn into mek/pipe whatever the team might need later. in my experience the cores are sadly not playing around the supports build and ive seen lately lots of pos 1 going for headress when we already have it on the lane. The regen aura shouldnt stack and u can almost get a bracer for the same price which i find better off to a carry in a defensive lane

Tried it in few games and it's still a decent starter on supports.
The price reduction allows to add a mango to the starter to help sustaining ranged creep securing with spells as a pos4.
Using the mango compensates a little the 3 int reduction I guess in terms of mana pool.

yeah those items defenetily are considered to be supports by now
