I never player LD but from my observation in my games when someone picked it and AdmiralBulldog gameplay, this hero have a somehow unbeatable last hit in laning phase with 2 heroes, but scales so bad midgame since his bear needed radiance before it actually becomes useful, on top of that even if he gets radiance, he still sucks compared to the meta heroes, also in midgame where disabler is dominating, LD is a walking gold with 300 gold bear + his own bounty, his bear also sucks carrier of BKB, which isn't a good thing, considering there are many new meta heroes popping out

Aight why people really love to play such complex hence not-so-op heroes. It isnt even gamewinning heroes regardless of what your laning stage outcomes.

in your mmr it can play on safe or off but its always better to play mid
u stomp mid always doesnt matter what, and u take towers after it.
radiance is good but not always. some times i go for weird build like solar, deso, etc.
dont like midas on hero, he is now esarly mid game hero not a late game
madness some times good when u dont really need roar that much or u can hit towers early.

hero is the worst right now but probably they buff him next patches

I like to play esoteric heroes hence I’m probably the only guardian rank master level Razor on Dota plus.
I agree with both your assessments.
I think he probably is best mid; but he is rather susceptible to ganks.
He seems not tanky enough for offlane to me, especially on point with disable really rendering the Bear useless.
How about position 4/jungle?
I’m abit scared to play him ranked at pos 4/support as my behavior score has been plummeting with the new system.
Just got out my first 3-match LP ban the other day....

I do see very skilled LDs able to play both offlane and midlane. I believe mid is best for LD however.

LD's early laning stage is very overpowered, both in that most heroes can't actually contest the bear early and that LD has such a massive last hit/deny advantage over most. This early lane domination is best used mid where LD can gain xp the fastest, and his massive last hit advantage hits the enemy mid lane, whom is the hero that, if behind, will most slow down the pace of the enemy's game.

LD's absolute best spike is to start fighting before the enemy team is ready for it, before the enemy cores are geared and ideally even before key pos 3-4 heroes have their mobility item on the enemy who can jump and CC you. Due to this timing I have been seeing a lot more Mask of Madness rush LD's where they play to maximize their early power.

Questions for you: why the signature in a non-sig forum? Also are you referring to the Hero Mastery level on DotA Plus? All that really measures is how many games you played in quantity- not much of a proficiency measurement.

As to your questions:
1. I think it is generally agreed that this forum is rude and have an immature and toxic atmosphere that drives people away. I find it my personal quest to inject some gentlemanly and polite etiqutte into this forum so that this forum can once again thrive as a welcoming forum for newcomers and veterans alike. I hope you can share the same vision I have for this forum rather than one spoilt by racist/sexists/homophobes.

2. I totally get that being a master razor only means the quantity of games played as razor not the quality hence I also mentioned my guardian medal in the same sentence. I am only highlighting the fact that I am probably a slight masochist for underpowered heroes and hence the number of games played as Razor. I have never stated that my gameplay is in anyway at a high or a pro level.

Yeah, he is a tough but to crack and I haven’t really found a perfect way to play him. My win rate is 49.5% while the general win rate for him is 46%? So perhaps I’m slightly better than the average razor?
