    Man it used to be different, we were the only ones who played 2:1:2 and i was always kinda jelous that high skill players can play solo offlane or have "safe" safelane (trilane).

    These days the true come out and every one play like archons.

      actually yeah it's quite funny how things turned out

      however the laning is now emphasized to such a large degree that it was inevitable, the change in how denies work certainly killed the 311/211R meta

          212 should be dead after oov and wr got nerfed. silly noobs.
          securing the safelane is much more easier and uncounterable unlike going 212.
          where they just pick a strong offlaner and carries buy extra tangoes.

          so just pick strong supports as usual and crush the enemy dual lane and deny their gold income.

              The reason 2 1 2 is the new cookie cutter atm is the change from xp/dennie on creeps mostly.Before you could get xp as solo vs 3 lane if you were good at not dying , now its very hard since you loose 75% of your xp when a creep is denied , then its not the even good to trilane because you won't have enough xp on your sups to keep up with the game at min 8/10 (they reduced the xp gain for the one who dennie has well 30->25 % if im right).

              Ill give you some proper exemples : if you go tri safe lane vs a dual offlane , you'll need a lot of kills to stay ahead in xp and even with gold. If you dont get lot of this , you ll end up with your carry lvl 5 when the 2 offlaners are 6/7 by this time (around min 8/10) forcing your carry to go jungle earlier in the game ( or stay on the lane and die)

              THe other thing that should be considered is you'll have much more impact with 2 x dual lanes and its less gambling, usually you'll have your offlane won with the possibility of having your safe lane or mid won considering the match ups. If you have 1 lane won and 2 even you're good , if you can own 2 lanes out of 3 you'll be ahead in the victory chance . If you win 3 lane , gg no re .

              you can also loose 3lane but it means u picked/played bad . nothing to do with the meta
