As everyone says buy dust and sentry lmao.
I think riki is dead when you chain stun and burst him

from the little i have played this hero.....
i think i have the hardest time when i try to farm diffusal around 12 mins mark far from where my team or carries are farming and they start hunting me because im far from backup
also mass forcestaffs and ghost scepters are so fucking annoying until i get nullifier even shadowblades are somewhat annoying cuz i have to buy dust hindering my item progression
also having strong laners (not good laners just literally strong or beefy) is somewhat annoying since i cant snowball from laning stage say like if u have support omniknight or ogre

riki you see in archon and legend is different with riki in divine

:D Im Europe player and everybody in my games seems to have trouble with riki too at least it's usually banned

I mainly have trouble picking mid laners against him as it seems like every good mid hero is countered by him apart from like viper/dk

ta/brood/seeker/tiny could probably do your mid stuffs if you got riki ganking on you,or even pl i think
just pick strong melee heroes if you think you gonna get dual laned by a riki,your safelane/offlane will be rejoicing anyway

well..about midgame i idk that sentry stuffs,just bring dust i guess(or buy 2 sents?)

best counter is not feed him early kills and stop play solo as soon as riki has diffu. To kill a riki you need lockdown and detection, detection alone doesn't rly make the job because of the blink. Best counter items forcestaff, ghost, euls or glimmer.
I don't think zeus is a good riki counter because it's just an other easy kill.

how the fuck is this guy at divine 3 but cant counter heroes, over ancient 5 it should only be execution problems, not knowledge problems

I remember when I first started playing dota I thought sk jungle with maxing sandstorm was the only way to go, but if Riki was on the other team and used smoke cloud on my sandstorm and killed me I was convinced Riki was the most powerful hero in dota 2

see his movements - kill him
obliterate laning stage - riki doesnt offer much at all to that

but sentries very expensive

I wish his backstab and invis were separate abilities again. would be nice to have to make a decision on level 1 skill.
