Obviously cleave will do little damage even at level 7 because your damage is shit, but could it actually be good for early farming? Sven's a really shitty laner, but this way you can take the wave very rapidly, then go to the jungle to take a stack, etc. This can also let you put some pressure on ranged heroes that'd otherwise be completely out of Sven's reach.
