Any tips/advice? I realized that playing support is fun for me.

The reason behind that abandon is because me and my friend ES' PC
accidentally restarted because of blackout. LOL

I think, at low levels IO works best with ranged heroes who have some kind of attack modifier: OD, Clinkz, Enchantress (very good combo actually), Sniper, Drow and Viper may be good too.

I think the hero is garbage at low levels cause:

              1. the 1/2K IO player is garbage to begin with (not that 3K is much better, but still)

              2. No sense of coordination whatsoever or voice communication, IO takes communication (that's what i think)

              3. The hero is a free kill at lower MMR due to low level IO players bad positioning and map awareness, gerinjgbrrgjker, did i mention that O_O

Example: Lina walks up to IO, uses laguna blade, byebye little IO.

                @Yorkey
Io is more durable than Lina. =)

^ And what in the world is that supposed to mean?

                  Soultrap

                    ^ I don't know. May be it's ironical? =)

BTW, Io has second worst strength growth of all strength heroes. Worst is Alchemist. Irony again? =)

Ok, I guess I'm still too sleepy to understand kappa

                      GM_Kappablanca

most of the underpicked heros cant win not cause they r weak but cause its hard for pubbers to play on team with them. if u rly want to play Io i suggest u have a good friend u can go dual mid with and who picks a fitting hero (Tiny (for dual mid, carry n push), CK (for early skirmish and strong lategame), Bristleback (for aggro dual), Legion (for aggro dual), Necrophos (for aggro dual).

Tell your teammates to leave u alone and go 3 man on the other side of the map. if enemy shows up u relovate and 5vX them, if noone shows u just keep splitpushing and preobably outfarm enemy in bigger picture.

get a friend who likes to gank. pick io, have them pick a ganker. gank. gank so hard you dirty boy.

skill build should be one early point in tether, one early point in overcharge, then max spirits, then overcharge, take your ult when ever you can.

other tips if you are new to the hero. If you know this shit don't flame me for saying the obvious I have seen a lot of people pick the hero and not know exactly how his spells work.
                          1. tether doesn't heal if IO is at full health, so turn overcharge on if you have full HP and want to heal a bitch.
                          2. tether will pull you close to what ever you tether to, you can use it to escape/chase.
                          3. the other team can see where you are relocating to, know that they will see you coming.
                          4. if your spirits reach the end of their duration they all explode at once, you can use this to do a lot of damage if you time it right.
                          5. if you are going to return from a relocate, you can break the tether to leave you ally behind.

I flamed my teammate Medusa once because he/she keeps getting out of my Tether's range...

                            Anyways thanks for the tips

                            That 1st comment though. Hahaha
