Well i random them so its hard to always random the same hero.

so you random pudge 4 times in a row, cool story.

Aside from knowing how to hook I found that knowing how not to be seen / expected is key to playing Pudge well, especially if your hooks aren't great. Use smoke of deceit, since relying on hooking people gives you the advantage of not having to come close enough to them for the smoke effect to get cancelled. Remember, if they see you coming it makes your job of landing a hook so much more difficult.

EDIT: In fact why not just watch other people play Pudge? No need to reinvent the wheel, just try to do what they do.

pudge = autolose.

buy your own smokes, buy your own wards.
setting up hook wards, and self smokes are perfectly viable.
Pro players like Dendi and singsing constantly do it.
You don't need the money for items as long as you are constantly getting kills.
Build mobility, and if the enemy team are pushing pre set yourself in hook areas, rather then just tping to lane to defend.

Don't pick shit heroes, let enemy team pick it then go mid and pulverize him.

This is kind of offtopic but since we got so many 'Pudge is shit' posts I'd like to ask: what exactly makes Pudge 'shit' compared to other heroes?

Has to have lvls to be effective thus needs to take mid. Has abysmal lane control and provided proper warding for both teams he will lose the lane to almost every common mid hero. Is easy to gang while with proper map awareness it's hard to die to him. He is maybe good for smoke gang or counter gang with tp but so are many other mid heroes that still dominate him in lane. Maybe he is good in low mmr where people don't know how to handle him but I haven't seen a pudge doing good in weeks. Only case where I would not think is a terrible pick is vs TA.

Even if you can't see Pudge, you can smell him.

-make new acc and practice with pudge

Learn to mid and get first blood.

Well just like tidehunter, I always random this pudge. Tide is easier to play, For pudge, I always buy wards and smoke to gank, but fail because they always stick(I'm playing 4k MMR) and after that I get under level due to unable to get kills. Games end where their carry become fat and slay me in a few second. Any further tips?
Especially "Wave", can give me some idea?
