Hmmm nice to know that DB doesn't count that kind of games, but in the page it should be more easy to see, like a RED sign near the winner or something like that. Just an idea :D
I would like it a lot more if they did count those games if the game length goes on long enough. I had a game with Naga where our Shadow Demon left at the start, but we played the game out for about 35 minutes. Their Night Stalker left half way through and we won despite the advantage they had to start. I do believe in cases like this perhaps the coding should change. For the Shadow Demon the game wont count for him on DotaBuff but for the other 9 players those stats will be saved and added to their list. In game DotA 2 acknowledges I have won two games with Naga, but not DotaBuff. :x
This is kind of a side issue, but I was in a match where the 'game is safe to leave' occurred just as my team won, and I am now currently trapped in the lobby unable to start a new game. I've restarted the game twice and turned steam off and back on but it still continues. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

the other day i was browsing the forum and i say that some people had bugs in their stats and i do have some too...
the problem that i think is:
When a game is "Safe to leave + No stats will be recorded", if our team wins it is not recorded in dotabuff but if we lose (i.e. all our mated leave the game before the opponent team which gives opponent team auto win but not counted in dota2 stats) the game is counted in dotabuff
im not sure about this fact i just noticed it..
