i think the gaining of points for losing only happens during calibration phase, at least thats the case for me. during calibration my rate of change was -20 to + 45, after calibration individual performance seems to have little impact. in 17 matches (9W 8L) my MMR only changes by either +/- 25,26,27,28 and once 29.
I think that the MMR system only changes how much MMR you get based on performance in the calibration period. After that, it's just a normal ELO system where your whole team gets a fixed gain/loss after a win/loss. I'm basing this on the fact that my friend and I even though our party MMR differs by some 600 points and how we played in some matches together was very different, we gained/lost the same amount.
Solo: 3526 with 5 wins and 5 losses. Guess I should not have been practicing my Jugger during those games, but oh well :) Hero I can't play + retarded team mates in some of my games. I should be happy with this rating.

I probably gained a lot of rating in those last games, cause i played with good players (3700-4500) and i managed to keep up really well. Before that i played a lot with begginers and noob friends, so if i keep up playing like that, i can actually get in 5%, maybe even 1% :)

If you had a change of more than 25 can you link the replay so we can figure out wtf? I was like 55-80 w-l in beta (from learning), but since coming back, I am like 52-45 or something. I am finishing my calibration matches soon and am not sure what to expect. 7-0 in solo and 5-4 in party so far

i've teamed with only 1 guy, so we had 3 randoms, i played only carry, and i never had negative score
1st solo game troll joined saying he's here to ruin the game for us just for the sakes of trolling, pickd NP and intentionally fed
all in all i'm slowly climbing up but still i wonder why so low mmr. i have over 2k games played with 49-50% win ratio, and last months win ratio is arround 56%

Same happened to me over the weekend. Its possible this was an error with a recent update, as I usually just got +0 on both side whenever there was an abandon. At the time, I almost won a game 1 V 3 thinking i'd get a ranking boost, but it wasn't to be.
Played around 200 games overall on this "smurf" account with 48% winrate, 10 solo ranked (6wins, 4 loses) - Solo MMR 3768. On my other (main) profile i have 1100 games played, 51.5% winrate, solo MMR 3445. So there actually is a difference, since i created my main profile as beginner and this one as experienced player and YES - you can probably get a bit more accurate rating with creating new profile. But it's very time consuming, rather play like 10-20 good games and you'll get the mmr difference.

Well its frustrating, my last game i had to abadon because i was getting auto-disconnect every 5 seconds or so, so i just coudnt play.
My team mates lost the normal 26 mmr for that, what on my opinion is not fair for them.
