you need to communicate with your team better. If they don't listen, well be the bigger person you can respond to dives. SHOW THEM THE WAY!!!!!
Punishing dives is the best, and very ez gold.
I think your enemies just dive then the tower is targeting creeps.. then they take off tower aggro very easily.. even if they hero dmg to tower.. players can just take aggro off..
if your enemy gyro gets hit 8-10 times by tower , kills you, and leaves, then you were probably not doing well in the lane lol
maybe towers should equip with a passive root skill, with a 300 aoe around it? that will be fun for techies players
@Story Time: oh well, just give it shadow amulet so the enemies need true sight every time they push

DotA used to be boring when you had to wait 15/20 minutes to allow you to dive under a tower, the tier 1 tower used to have the same armor, and damage than the actual tier 4 tower or tier3 at least.
6k hours on the game and only slightly above 3k games
your games are pretty long dude, unlike your mmr which is also slightly above 3k

I have about 6,000 hours on the game, and have been playing for years. My point is maybe my criticism has more value then someone who just started playing. Basically I think diving towers has been way too easy for a while and an easy fix would be to make towers do more damage to heroes. I mostly play non-ranked with randoms, so of course it's not going to be consistent victories. In professional play it's not as big of a deal because supports are much more aware of dives and tp in for the punish. So often playing any lane really but mostly solo offlane, you get dove behind the t1 or even the t2 sometimes meanwhile the tower is doing very little damage. Low health heroes can't do it as easily of course but once you get a few items, it's pretty easy to dive. It's pretty rare in non-ranked for people to tp in and help but sometimes they do and the person diving still gets away. Tanky heroes can just take the hits while 2 or more people rush your safelane carry and support, they both get wrecked and the tower is just near useless. Even if you have a team fully aware and making the proper rotations on dives, that still takes time away from the rest of the team that has to rotate so often or even change lanes because diving is so easy. You shouldn't be able to dive a t3 as gyrocopter, get a kill and tp away while taking 10-15 tower hits. This happened to me the other day.
