They were supposed to mean something. But due to many people using them improperly, It's become pointless. Commends should be used for leaders and generally nice players. But nowadays, most(not all) players just swap commend or commend whichever teammate had the best KDA.
Eh, It only boosts your ego unfortunately.
HAHAHAHA. I feel you guys. After all of my games someone would chat at the post game swap commend. Hahaha. And even report nowadays are used improperly. Some people just reports anyone because they played badly or the favor didnt go to them. I feel bad about that.
a lot of people says commend means nothing
but its actually a prestige that makes you happy
more commend = more happy in your life
If u base ur happiness on what people who u match up with in dota think of u, then ur a sad man
