Play support, focus on the others more than yourself. Takes time but you will learn
i never found much enjoyment playing support, i know how to play them (or at least i think i do. pulling, stacking, warding, denying) but most of the time it's boring playing them. Sometimes i do play support when i see a good counter pick (picking ogre when they have ursa, sven, lc or other short time period burst mele heroes or seeing good combos with ogres bloodlust)
If you don't find enjoyment in support, stop playing dota you disgusting fucking trash. You're gonna keep being trash forever and you're one of the reasons this game is so fucking shit and in decline get the fuck out of my forum piece of shit
Just play whatever you feel like. Identify your problems and look for a way to solve them. You can always watch pro matches to see how are they doing it.

I'm a herald 5 player and I want to improve. Usually the laning stage goes great, but I would still like to learn. I understand basic things like drawing creep agro to push my wave, denying but what I struggle with is harassing, but it just never works for me. I also start struggling in mid to late game (probably because i don't know exactly what items to buy at that moment).
