honest question, where do you find the 'lore' for each hero? and do they fit into a well written overarching story of dota? or its just some lame description of the hero?

On a lighter note, let’s not talk about meta and toxicity and geek out on lore for a bit.There had been some discussion on the matter and I want to hear the opinion of the community.
