"introduces a feature that matches new players against players with consistently high behavior scores."

    Game I played earlier: https://www.dotabuff.com/matches/3877430083

Profile lvl 1-2 drow and pudge on my team. Enemy team, all players with experience. Nice one valve. Wish I could say this didn't happen often, since this great addition to matchmaking.

sad, they need to re think how to make this work, like, players with consistently high behavior scores having the option to say they want to coach matches/play with them. If possible, players with good ehavior with as low mmr as possible if they are going to play together instead of just coaching

I'm less salty now than I was when I posted that. But yeah, it's been happening a lot since last summer, and it feels especially worse since a couple months. Different kind of suckage when the new players are on the enemy team. You win but you don't feel like you deserved it.

I know I'm not a great player, but I just want the confidence that queuing up for a solo game will pair me with and against players of roughly the same ballpark in experience/skill.

Ask a few guys to report you to lower your B score.
