Because some supports understand that helping gank mid wins games easily because weak minded people like you OP will most likely rage making it even more ez.
At my bracket(archon 5= 3k-3.2k), all support rotations to mid are offensive, defensive rotations don't exist lmao
so basically youre complaining about the other team doing what they can to secure their mid a good time? tough shite... Ask for help from your supports. That is unless you got heavily outdrafted and those supports cant leave their respective lanes... in which case youre screwed. Conceptual knowledge is just as important as mechanical skill. If a player goes into a game dead set on picking SF (or any other hero for that matter) without regard to what the opposition picks then they deserve to be counter-picked and lose. As for SF himself... he has a 45-47% winrate in the current meta... so i really dont get how he is still picked so much (25% of the time give or take)... hes just not that good right now...
So, tinker wants early bots to win game and sf needs early souls to win lane. Almost definitely nowhere better than mid for the supports to be for the first few waves.

You can stack, jungle, look for certain runes to make plays on the map, etc.

Lol, even in 5.5k to 6k mmr bracket, not getting response from allied supports is common, you just need to deal with it.
