I'm pretty new to the hero and I would like to get some insight to TA.

I usually go for phase boots, Aquila, bottle, and (possibly) magic wand for my early game.

And I would like to ask when does power treads be more viable in your games than phase boots?
Personally, I like phase boots much better because of the movement speed and damage, but some pros prefer to go for power treads.

    When should I skip bottle?
Is there a possibility where I have to skip Aquila? And what is the solution?
Hurricane pike still legit on TA or meh? Or is blink dagger still much better?

Treads and Aquila should be enough to sustain by treads switching. Given how bottle is right now I'd advice to skip it entirely, and invest in that wand.

If you can get deso by 12-13mins you can rush it, if not go for dagger first.

      Will elaborate when I'm home.

      no tilt

        dont get bottle
        always get aquila
tread>phase, phase can be ok vs certain hero but treads are overall better, the attackspeed matters a lot for farming and getting kills
pike or blink dagger isnt an "either or" thing, you always get blink, while pike is more situational. the 100 mana cost on force/pike definitely hurts but the active is still very good and the extra range lets you get better angles for attacks

          Thanks for the input guys!

@Redemption can I have a scenario for a game where phase is much more favourable as a TA? Or should I just make phaseboots as a situational player preference where I won't get punished if I don't make my power treads? (like making phase boots on enchantress)

aquila, wand, bottle, battlefury, SNY, phaseboots, daedalus is what i would get. if i need tankiness i will get heart. if they have hero like slarki will build bloodtorn. spam wards over the map and kill the creepwave.

            no tilt

tbh i wouldnt ever get phase boots nowadays, but it can help against heroes like pudge and tusk in the early game
you just farm way too slow with phase and the bonus damage is pretty superfluous with meld / refraction damage, being able to get more attacks in increases your burst by way more

@redemption ah I see thanks dude

@RNGesus pretty sure I would get a six months ban if I attempt that build. Eksdee

                    despair

^the only decent item that he suggested was scythe

                      despair

I first pick ta all the time, the items that i usually go for - Aquilla, blight stone, treads then dragon lance dagger deso bkb

If u know that game will be kinda passive, get deso first. Then dagger bkb dragon lance

Yeah you should almost never have boots as a starting item in mid. You just lose out on so many last hits because you're lacking regen and damage.

We just released an updated hero and facet statistics page featuring more data and advanced filters. Oh, and it supports Turbo!
