You cannot. However, if you wait 10 minutes before queuing your battle cup, you are likelier to get easier teams rather than pre-made stacks of 5.

I am in Tier 6 and couldnt play with any of my friends because they are all in Legend/Archon and we were matching teams with Ancient 4's and 5's
I had to find a good team on the BattleCup reddit thread to actually get my Battle Cup Tier 6 win

really want to play battlecup's with friend but alway end up in Tier7 (my friend is legend)
i have to make new Id to play with em but still end in Tier6

I've never tried battlecup before, but is there a way to play in lower bracket? I can only que for tier 8 and I've heard the discrepancy in this bracket is very high
