ember wont be fine when this dual lane meta is a thing. he is a melee agi hero with 0 armor. he also gets fucked in mid by almost every hero. he can still be good as a last pick though in a good lane matchup (which is like almost non-existant)
honestly i think heroes like Ember just need new items. Meteor Hammer has sprung a wave of new playstyles and made some supports a lot more viable, Aeon Disk made some supports a little more playable. we just need some early item that can redeem ember without being oppressively powerful like pms

i think ember talents got overnerfed, theyre literally so fucking trash rn
what if u could make RoPx2 + stout, and it gave bonus 3ish armor, but when u get hit by a hero, it would remove 1 armor for a couple seconds, up to however much bonus armor the item gave u.
or maybe RoP + RingofRegen + branchx2 and it gave u 2 stats, 1.75 hp regen or 3 armor, and it had a toggle that you could trade 0.75 regen for 1 armor or the other way around, but the toggle had a 5-10 second cd
he removed pms for a reason, he wont release another item similar to it.

Idk ember has 3.4 armor now lvl 1. If you think thata too little, ypu can start with stout, ring of protection, quelling blade of you're mid.
If they reduced flame guard cd by 5 sec, it would be awesome. Also that spell amp talent is so little for lvl 20 they should maybe swap it with one of the lvl 15 talents.
I think he needs a bit of a rework. Sleight of fist is too hard to balance. Maybe make it fixed damage rather than scaling with items? Talents can buff it for late game.
He is unplayable mid and even safelane he loses most 1v1s
I think his armor is ok but having more would be a big help
SoF is fine, it's not that relevant of an ability in lane and that's his biggest problem
I played ember against alch mid and felt fine (ty icefrog for +1 armor Kappa), but still lost later in the game because I couldn't hit buildings.
