140 mmr lower isn't much and there're many people who get medals by around 200 off the charts or get promoted after a losing streak
At the moment nobody knows exactly how MMR relates to medal. There's an image circulating around (the one on the wiki) but it's just a best guess, and the people that made it acknowledged it as such.

I heard that the needed mmr to reach divine is much lower now and as you get higher as well. But is it just for divine though? Or for all the ranks: herald, crusader, archon, etc... I made this thread to confirm this because there were many people who got got promoted recently even though they still lack 140 mmr based on the chart. Maybe valve lowered it to 140? Did anyone noticed this?
