The sandking AA opening looks really tough to beat, also teams have to start respecting that pugna pick in the 4th slot, that hero offers so much 5man.
Sand King actually has low winrate in pro games since TI7, now 36.25% winrate in this Major, I don't understand why they keep picking him, especially Newbee.
He can't offlane alone, can't roam with that lvl1 short stun. Only starts being a bit effective lvl3. Seems like a greedy pick.
Sandking is still super good because its an 'instant' initation with an escape, He also has the ability to deal with TB/PL/Naga esc heros, he farms faster than almost all other position 4's.
His low winrate is inflated because teams like 'paiN' and 'LFY' threw alot with him, they were winning for the majority of the game with it.
Its like optic.33 was dominating the game with him, he missed one initiation and suddenly they lost 3 rax's vs secret.
I think that the hero is very very strong right now, Especially with all the nullifier pickups being a natural lotus orb carrier and an 'instant' stun that can setup his team for a nullifier
