You know what fuck you and anyone spreading those lies, i got out from 1k by spamming Spirit breaker i just had a match with guardians/crusaders i picked support warded whole jungle just to watch enemies farming there, my team was farming my jungle. As a support in 1-2k you will waste all money just on wards which wont be used anyway and you will die by trying to place them!
Supporting in low bracket is for masochists! Never again! See my last game i played in 2k with some guardian friends, fucking aids! Those people cant push to save their life!
Ur low 3k something and literally the only way to get out of shity 3k support role is best to play
When you're playing support with/against lower players then just pick something which can carry the game like Skywrath

I got to 4k spamming pos 4 riki/ns in 7.06 . It's possible to grind with support , picking aggressive support has higher chance

u know Im half supp half core, the only thing that u need to know in 4k bracket are
-they are responsive to ganks, but also scaredy cat
-support get aimed much, they understand how fragile a support be and how annoying is a support, but that is, if u do too much attention
-4k players are weak to burst damage, they wont expect you to kill them easily
tanky support like SB and Ogre is easy to play and good with 4k player
or maybe u could try to change the game by using heavy nukes support/offlane that you could get a game changing carry kill at late game using skywrath with hex and rod atos, or enigma solo blackhole with aghanim, or maybe even pugna with decrepify dagon
just play as a support(core btw) and play like a support the first 10 minutes then go farm for the rest of the game omegalul
