Apparently if you underperform on any of those games especially as a support, you drop from high skill to normal skill and you most probably will not jump back to high skill. Why are you making a smurf when you're 3.3k already? The max calib is 3.5k anyway, isn't it easier to just climb that 200 considering you say you're a high skill player? (Legend)
Was testing out a theory, there was a video I watched where a guy got 3.5k but recived a Ancient 1 medal. He was apparently an ancient player. So I was trying to see if I could get a legit higher medal even though the MAX calibration is 3.5k, it looks like you can still achieve a higher medal according to your actual skill bracket level. Hopefully that answered ur question.
well this account shows most of your gamer are on normal skill...so i guess you must be messing up somewhere
lul u had 1 high skill game really early on where u did somewhat okay as a support. no biggie. then u played carry and got matched way above your competency level. you 'fed' as a result. but really you weren't good enough to begin with. it was inevitable. so valve realized you are a noob, so he put you back to normal skill. you play nothing exceptional, so you stayed there after, where you really belong. with crusaders.
well you havent really been playing core after. so it's harder for the system to detect that you're better unless you play core. so..

So I have 3.3k on my real acc and I either play supp or carry, rarely offlane. I did achieve high skill in about 4-5 games but on one of the game I sort of raged out against my team and fed. After that I have been stuck with fking crusaders and archons for some reason..I play well with good KDA, 3-4k spent on wards and dewarding, smoke kills, dust reveal AND STILL am in normal skill..how is this even possible? Why is dota being a retard?
